Rossini Driver Danny Steyn Is Awarded The SCCA SEDiv Driver Of The Year!

At the SEDiv SCCA Banquet, held at Jekyll Island in January, Danny Steyn was awarded the “Driver of the Year” for SCCA SEDiv! Danny won two Spec Miata champion-ships in 2011, winning the SEDiv National Championship as well as the ECR Endurance Championship.

Tom Fowler, owner and crew-chief of OPM Autosports received the SCCA SEDiv “True Sportsman of the Year” award. This prestigious award is presented to the SCCA member who consistently demonstrates exceptional driving skill ( even with gum on his glove), integrity in all aspects of the sport, respect for SCCA and the rules of the organization, who represents truth and fairness in all areas of competition, who inspires camaraderie among drivers, and who has consistently shown a genuine willingness to help other drivers acquire knowledge and to achieve optimum driving performance.
