Stepping up their game from the season opener at Homestead, Rossini powered Spec Miata drivers Selin Rollan and Danny Steyn took a win each at the Sebring Majors this past weekend. Selin Rollan qualified on pole with Rossini teammate Danny Steyn back in 4th place.
In Race 1 Rollan, Machavern, Carbonell, Steyn and Clements ran up front with Selin leading every lap and Steyn hot on his heals running in 4th place. A car in the wall on the exit of T17 brought out an early checker with Selin in front and Steyn dropping to 4th. This was Selin’s 2nd win of the 2016 Majors season.
In Race 2 Steyn started from the 2nd row and made his way to the front at the end of lap 1 and never relinquished the lead. Todd Lamb and Dillon Mahavern fought to take away the lead but Steyn drove a mistake free race to clinch the win and give Rossini Racing Engines their 3rd win in 4 Majors races.
