Rossini Drivers Steyn And Quartuccio Shine At BFG Super Tour Majors At Watkins Glen

Two of Rossini’s drivers showed up to join 38 other Spec Miata drivers for the Double Majors BFG Super Tour race at Watkins Glen over the July 4th weekend.

Ken Quartuccio started Saturdays race in 10th place and championship leader Danny Steyn stared in 14th. Quartuccio stayed up front in the top 5 for most of the race before slipping back to finish 13th. Steyn slowly moved up to finish 5th in his spare car, testing out his 2002 Miata prior to the runoffs.

In Race 2, Steyn started in 7th and moved up to 3rd place on the last lap before his car cut out and he was unable to continue. Quartuccio started in 6th place and hung on for a great drive to finish a very respectable 8th place in a field that contained four national champions.
